Donor Recognition Levels
Scientists, educators and others interested in seeing the Smithsonian Soils Exhibit become a reality at the National Museum of Natural History may direct their gift to the national educational exhibit, or to one of the 50 long term state soil monoliths. Both will be displayed in the same room as one exhibit; the state monoliths will remain after the two year interactive educational components will be stored for future use or loaned to other museums.
Georgia Soil Monolith Campaign
Gifts of $1,000 or more to the Georgia state monolith will be recognized on a small plaque on the monolith. In addition, all donors regardless of gift size will be recognized in the CSA News, the official publication of the Soil Science Society of America, as well as on the SSSA web page. For more information on supporting the Georgia soil monolith contact: Dr. C. Reese Berdanier, 706 769-6823 / c.berdanier@att.net . This effort is being coordinated by the Soil Science Society of Georgia.
